Fine wine, like other luxury assets, has attracted a number of bad actors to the space. As an investment business, we are aware we need to go above and beyond to ensure that we a trusted partner.

As well as Coterie Holdings, we are backed by SFC Capital and Founders Capital, as well as 18 angel investors from companies including BlackRock, Investec, Fidelity, T Rowe Price, Dentsu-Aegis, Marsh and McKinsey.

Well Publicised

Our founding team is well publicised, and regularly appear in the press.

Resources

Knowledge around wine investing has been restricted to a small group within the trade. Through the content we create, we hope to show how anyone can invest in wine; even if that means they choose to invest by themselves.

Investment Committee

Our investment committee represent a "Who's Who" of the global wine trade, and includes two professional wine investors and two Masters of Wine, of which there are only 421 in existence.

These individuals include Alun Griffiths, the former Buying Director at Berry Bros. and Rudd and Simon Thorpe, the former CEO of WineGB.

We hope that the willingness of our investment committee to publicly put their names against WineFi speaks to our integrity.

Industry Partnerships

We work with well known partners across the industry to source great wines at attractive valuations, and leverage data sources from a number of reputable suppliers.

Ownership

Our clients own the title to their wines outright. Even in the event that WineFi were to cease trading, these wines remain owned by our members. This ownership can be verified by a third-party, Coterie Vaults.
