Unlike many other alternative asset classes, fine wine has a "live" market price. Our dashboard allows you to track the estimated value of your client's portfolios in real time.
We use an independent third-party API to estimate the value of the individual assets within a portfolio. This represents the lowest price for a wine in the secondary market, and as such is a conservative method of valuation.
Crucially, this data is provided by an independent third party (Wine Compare). The opacity of the wine markets has led to bad actors over-inflating valuations, and this method ensures we remain fair and objective.
The dashboard also allows you to dive into a portfolio to see how the individual underlying assets are performing, as well as providing additional insights into the composition of your portfolio(s).
